Krade’s WebLog

Every written document has to start with its first words, isn’t it? Actually, everything at all has to start with its first steps, no matter how big or how little it is. I think I ripped this off from somewhere else… Umh… Not too sure from where, though.

I always made fun of those so called “blogs”. You know, those Livejournals and Xangas ran by 12 years old pre-teen girls. Seriously, who the hell would want to read about a kid bitching about their life or excessively large transcripts of boring AIM chats? Or poll results. Man, don’t get me started on those stupid polls made by 10 years old girls.

So yeah, my impression of weblogs was rather bad because of this. This changed when I started stumbling upon blogs with actual content. Those bloggers didn’t bitch about a mean boyfriend or a annoying little brother; some stated opinions about relevant subjects, discussed political events, technology, TV, etc. Many of them much better than articles you would normally read in magazines (which you have to pay for).

That’s what inspired me to get a blog. There are so many things I would like to say, but I never have the chance because I have no way to tell them. Now, even if my Unique Visitors per day never go above 3, at least I can say those (crappy) thoughts didn’t go to waste. Because after spending a couple of hours playing with WordPress, themes, plugins and half Photoshopping, half GIMPing that crappy image above I’m ready to publish stuff in a site only I stare at. :p

Oh, and if there any mistakes in this post, gimme a break, it’s almost 5 A.M.
